Have you seen the quarter dollar with the fruit bat on its rear? I thought, how ironic that a bat quarter be minted in these times. I've probably handled a few and didn't even notice.

That's some beautiful country. Feb 2019 I drove US-70 from Las Cruces the 300 miles NE to Clovis. Yes, the White Sands are really white. Where's the beach?

Next time I'm driving through Lincoln National Forest. Detours are good.
