So, we shouldn't post his name? What in the world are you talking about? We've waited 24 hours to get the asshole's name. We should then- what- not mention it?

justjoeAn excellent article:
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/new...s-KATIE-HOPKINS.htmlIf Europe is eaten alive, historians and anthropologists 500 years from now will be looking at the photos of Europeans standing in vigils after these barbaric attacks, lighting candles and holding their hands in heart shapes. As the savages plan their next attack. The vigils will explain it all.

Yes, lets all stand in circles and sing kumbaya, the world problems will be solved.

justjoeYears ago I read a study that was undertaken in a prison. I'm sorry I can't provide a link, it was a long time ago. But the gist of the study was this: Prisoners did not recognize "kindness." The experimenter brought in books, video tapes, offered to perform little favors like helping write letters-- things like that. And the prisoners registered this kindness as
weakness. They literally did not see kindness. They saw weakness.
When victims of terrorist attacks show up to vigils with candles, flowers, teddy bears, and hold their hands in heart shapes, they think they are sending a message to everyone, including the terrorists themselves: Love triumphs.
But what the terrorists see is
lambs for the slaughter. Terrorists are so twisted that I'll bet some of them literally get a hardon watching these vigils.

This reminds me of the French dad back in 2015 explaining to his son how the good guys will win against the terrorist because the terrorist may have guns...but the good guys have flowers and flowers are more powerful...
Be sure to give your executioner a pretty flower or make a heart with your hands (if you can with them tied together) before he saws your head off or burns you alive in a cage...
My heart goes out to those people enjoying a day in London that were injured or slaughtered by that godless piece of shit...
My heart goes out to the Police officer and his family who was stabbed to death by a godless coward...
But damn a politician or citizenry that is willing to cave to a mindset that if we show some meaningless sign or action, it will somehow make everything great...
Shit...look at US...we elected a President that is doing what he promised to do, to try and keep the United States from becoming Europe, to reduce the threat of terror and murder here...EVERYTHING he is trying (legally by the way) is being fought tooth and nail by those bent on destroying our country...
Anyone who can look around and NOT see that we are already in a war against these godless animals (and their willing fifth column, the MSM/democrats) is delusional at best...and a supporter at worst.

RightwireA reporter on the news rhetorically asked "what can we do to stop this, I guess be more vigilant, and of course more police"
Of course it never occurred that vigilant might mean armed citizens who recognize an attack and properly ventilate the attacker before he can do any more harm.

This version of the picture shows a CTSFO patch, indicating "Counter Terrorist Specialist Firearms Officer," a unit from the Metropolitan Police. I believe today was their first real operational deployment since being formally stood up.

sigfreundPerhaps I overlooked it, but I didn’t see any mention of whether the murdered officer was armed. If he wasn’t (and evidently not all officers around Parliament are), I wonder if this sort of incident is working to change minds about having all police be armed as they are here. A poll I read a few years ago indicated that a significant majority of police officers in the U.K. didn’t want to be armed themselves. An officer murdered in Paris during one of their terrorist attacks was unarmed and although France seems to have a much more sensible attitude toward arming the police than the populace of the U.K. does, evidently not all of them are for some reason.

The news stories I've read all say that the officer was unarmed. Something like 92% of the officers in London are, according to one account that described the CTSFO units.

Just to clarify, 92% are armed or are unarmed?

ScoutmasterA couple of open thoughts.
What percent of Muslims would commit a terrorist act? Probably quite small, but probably larger than most liberals would want to believe.
What percent of Muslims would stop a fellow Muslim from committing a terrorist act? Probably close to zero.

parabellumI cannot comprehend policing without a firearm. It's time to arm every police officer in England.
The old way is not going to work anymore.

vinnybass^^^ Agreed. Although I do wonder how many could even embrace the concept. Aside from that, how many could be adequately trained & qualify. How long have they been without sidearms?

Since the inception of the first British police agencies in the 1800s, most officers have not been armed with guns. It's historically been a small percentage of officers with more specialized roles that have firearms, and that policy continues today. From the stats I found with a quick Google, it looks like ~10% of police officers in Great Britain are armed these days.
However, police officers in Northern Ireland are all armed.

Arming the police is common sense, but you're dreaming about widespread gun ownership and carry in that nation.
