What’s your hobby besides firearms?
I think this question gets asked a couple of times a year. So, other than guns, what hobbies to you participate in?

Does reloading count?

I also like reading, running, and prepping.

Pretty much a cargo pants type existence but I try to stay cool.

Motorcycle riding, vegetable gardening when I can, and playing a game I really enjoy on Xbox daily as a stress reliever. I also guess cooking as I enjoy making good meals from scratch.

I do reload and shoot, but didn’t included that since it is firearm related.

Anything besides what I listed are chores and not hobbies, such as yard work and constantly working on my 23-year-old truck to keep fixing each new problem.

Baking
Driving (off roading, drag racing or Autocross) commuting sucks.

Wow. More hobbies and interests than time and/or money.

Here are some....

Dog training and enrichment
Cooking
Reloading
Competition shoot
Leather working
Drawing/writing
Cars, modifying, driving, touring, rally, JDM, USA muscle, Street Rod.
Fishing, hiking, camping ( outdoor things )
Reading/learning
Travel/road trips/day outings to mom/pop restaurants

That's just a short list, wish I had more time and money to do and enjoy these things more often.

I do, as much as I can when I can.

Well based on the definition of a hobby: 1.
an activity done regularly in one's leisure time for pleasure.

Then my main hobby is visiting my mom every weekend to bring her a lunch we share together, talk, spend time together, and I take care of any projects she needs done around the house. I begin and end that weekly hobby with a 30 second hello and and a 30 second goodbye hug to exchange our love. My mom means the absolute world to me and since my dad’s death, I am there also as much as I can be to be there for her. THAT, is my most important hobby of all.

Here is my most important hobby. It took me forever to figure out how to post an image using Imgur.

Knives, but that goes hand in hand with firearms I suppose.
Fishing/hunting
Golf- which can turn into hiking depending on how I’m playing (I prefer to walk 9 a couple of times a week rather than riding 18).

This time of year, gardening is my hobby that takes the most time. I have an organic raised bed garden for veggies and herbs.

Motorcycling is a hobby, but I haven't ridden longer than a mile in 2025. I'm itching to have both free time and good weather. Only 8 or 10 weeks before it gets stupid hot down here and it's too hot to ride in full gear.

I like to cook and smoke. I got an air fryer over the holidays and have used that more than my big green egg.
