I bought a speed queen a few years ago and happy with it. Pretty penny so hoping I won’t have to buy a replacement for 15-20 years.

I went to a laundromat that used Dexter machines. Labeled made in USA and worked great. Just for future reference, good machines and good brand? Same or better than Speed Queen?

Most commercial laundry service techs I know hate them.

For reference, who manufactures Dexter? Never heard of the brand.

Dexter does, apparently they've been in business 125 years and everything is 100% USA manufactured and the company is 100% employee owned...…...according to their website. I've never heard of them either, but haven't used a commercial coin laundry place in probably 15 years and didn't pay any attention to the brands there either.

Thanks Brad; sounds like stick w/ Speed Queen.

They worked great on my comforter and stuff - oversized load that my SQ can't handle. I used I think a 40lb machine and it got everything clean.

They were quiet and seemed well made.
