So much of the ammunition manufacturing talent is in that area. When I was at SIG’s factory in Newington around 2018, I was talking to one of the management types about the still fairly new ammunition factory. I asked why they decided to go so far from their NH base, which they were obviously happy with, and they responded that, “that’s where the talent is.” That area really is the ammunition manufacturing heart of the country.

The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena, whose face is marred by dust and sweat and blood; who strives valiantly; who errs, who comes short again and again, because there is no effort without error and shortcoming; but who does actually strive to do the deeds; who knows great enthusiasms, the great devotions; who spends himself in a worthy cause; who at the best knows in the end the triumph of high achievement, and who at the worst, if he fails, at least fails while daring greatly, so that his place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who neither know victory nor defeat.”

They also said back then the absurd energy costs here in NH played a part in it.

I wonder if the storm had any impact on it. Hopefully it did not as it is good to see more manufacturers come to free states where they are welcome and bring income/jobs to us.
