Who cares? It's funny. He's speaking English and they gave him subtitles. Get it? Funny. It's funny. You know, humor?

Mikee ain't the brightest bulb. It was a cute commercial.
Pretty sure he was hoodwinked out of most of the millions he made and then blew through what was left. Hope the second chance to make some $ works out better for him.

I'd feel a tiny bit more sympathy were it somebody who wasn't a convicted rapist.

OK, I've had it with this.

Let me tell you something, guys- from this point on, when I post a joke that's OBVIOUSLY a joke, I had better not see one word of this kind of STUPID BULLSHIT like "convicted rapist" in the thread. I am not going to put up with a simple joke being turned into a platform for some pissy complaint.

Commit it to memory: DON'T DERAIL THREADS CREATED BY THE FORUM OWNER

I have HAD IT with this stupid shit.

Any questions? Ask them now, if you feel up to it.

Un-Goddamned-believable!!

Apologies, Para. That wasn't my intent but I get it.

You're not wrong about the commercial in any event. It IS funny.

It would have been funnier if they hadn’t posted subtitles for the talking bird.

I generally like people who can laugh at themselves. Kudos for Tyson for going along with the subtitles.

I was laughing at the subtitles. I bet the producer is not returning his calls or taking appointments.

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.

What are you guys talking about? I love subtitles. Plus, with my shot hearing, I would only understand about half of what he said.

Thanks to Mike Tyson...great commercial.

I think you get to a point if you're a celebrity like Mike Tyson, where you're not working to make yourself wealthy, you're working to set up your future generations.

My friends know me as someone who has strong opinions. They also know me as someone who has a strong sense of humor. I hate it when I have to explain to them which one I am expressing at the moment. It tells me they are not really paying attention and I am wasting my time and energy on them.

(And when you ae 80+ years old, time and energy are reserves that are already in very short supply! Eek)

I would just rather have them tell me that they are not interested in either my views or my humor - it might hurt my feelings, but I have an ample supply of those..

Funny! They could have AI'd Norm MacDonald's voice and given the pigeon some sassy lines to say.

(A reference to Mike Tyson's cartoon with Norm MacDonald voicing the cartoon pigeon in the series)
