Busier than a cat covering crap on a marble floor |
For the 23 years my wife and I have lived in AZ all the political messages that I get on my phone are for various Republican office seekers during all election seasons. We have been registered as Republicans since 2001 so it seemed logical to get those "vote for me" communications. That changed this past Saturday @ 12:46pm: "Hey William, This is Mel with the AZ Democratic Party! We're talking to voters about Vice President Kamala Harris and Governor Tim Walz. Are you planning on voting for Vice President Harris this year? At 3:35pm I replied: FUCK. NO. Sunday @ 11:40am I got: Thank you for sharing and for your time. Have a good day. I'm still laughing. ________________________________________________________ The trouble with trouble is; it always starts out as fun.

Optimistic Cynic |
That may have been a mistake. A few years ago I sent an e-mail to Don Beyer asking him to vote against an anti-2A bill. Since then, I have regularly gotten daily messages from Dem. organizations and politicians asking for "support." Once they have your name and marked as a "live one" they are merciless. I dare not ask to be removed from their lists as that would only further confirm my status as involved.
