Been a long, long time since enjoying breakfast at a greasy spoon with a buddy.
And as a blue city/county, we are definitely behind the lines, deep in enemy territory. Small family-owned restaurants have been decimated.

its not a yacht, but I do have a boat. Maybe we could meet at Friday harbor for lunch I am game but you guys will need to get there from your side. I could dump some crab pots and let them soak over lunch.

OK, actually I have standing appointment on Wednesday mornings, but I do love diner food and CFS is my all-time favorite!
Best ever was at a little mom and pop place in Big Timber MT wile doing a 1000 mile "Iron Butt Saddlesore" motorcycle endurance ride. Will tell the whole story when we hook up.
A neighbor and I have a "ROMEO" (love that acronym) routine for Lunch on Tuesday's and hit some great spots.
