I’m looking for a leather holster for appendix carry that secures with a snap loop instead of a metal or plastic clip. More than once I’ve had a clip on holster slip off my belt and hit the floor. I really don’t need that kind of attention. In case it matters it will be for a Walther PPS.

Budget? Off the shelf or custom? There ought to be dozens of them out there, just order it with zero cant for vertical carry.

I wrote to Ryan. Sadly he had to decline. He is the only member I know that makes holsters but I’m sure there are others. Please share if you know of any.

I get a left hand holster and fasten a belt clip to the back.

Now it is carried in the waist band for a right-handed draw. Works great when driving with the seat belt.

TT Gunleather makes what you’re looking for (runs $145). I’ve used one for a P224 before and it was very secure and comfortable.

100% RGrizzle (Worth the wait and the $)

But, if they don't have what you are looking for, how about this?
(No personal experience, but when I have the free cash I will be ordering one)

Delfatti's ISP-A2. Only downside is it's $270

Kramer's IWB #5. It's closer at $198.

Ryan does beautiful work and is absolutely first class to work with. Sadly for me (since I need to order another holster) others have figured that out and there is a wait. Totally worth the wait, but nobody loves waiting…

Scott at BRL has also made some nice holsters. There used to be a thread about SIGforum leather artists, but I don’t recall which subforum it was in.

I really like two custom makers - Ryan and Lance Nixon. Lance has made me several knife sheaths and a holster. His turn around was fast and price OK. I think he's only on FB.
