I smoked a Sindicato last friday night. Was told by the proprietor that it was similar to a lot of Padrons and, he said, better than a 64 Anniversary.
I beg to differ but it was a pretty good smoke. Box pressed, maduro wrapper. Nice draw and peppery.
I also bought a My Father #5 but haven't had the chance to fire it up yet.
Edit: happy birthday to me.

Smoked a Spectre and a 5vegas aaa. We smoked them while doing some grinding on a couple of metal bases for 2 3'x7' tables my brother is making. Both were good "work" smokes. The Spectre is like a Kentucky Fire Cured but it has a more mild "smoke" flavor.. Been pretty busy lately, so I've not been able to burn much.

Happy Birthday YellowJacket! That My Father is a nice celebratory stick to have. I have not been able to enjoy anything due to time restrictions, maybe tomorrow.

Yeah! Happy birthday Yellowjacket! Ronin, I finally smoked a Tatuaje 10th 2 weekends ago. Boy was it delicious. Now I know why you all rave about them! I've got a gift card that I can't figure out what to get with it.. I really liked the 10th anniversary, but I've never had any of the Liga's. I guess I've got first world problems too!

Thanks guys.
That No 5 is a great cigar. I was highly impressed... smooth for a full bodied cigar, creamy, woody, some vanilla, and a nutty finish. A bit Monte #2-ish, imo.
My wife called me in for my birthday dinner and I told her she'd have to wait 10 minutes while I smoked a little more.

Great evening in the cave. An LADC mi Amor Reserva and a 4 year old PSP2.

I love the La Aroma de Cubas! The Mi Amor Reserva built on an already beautiful cigar, and became an even better blend.

Xikar is 0-2 with me now. Had a dud lighter and now a dud cigar. HC criollo toro is poorly constructed, bland, difficult draw and needs constant touch ups.

Hopefully their cutters are good. I need to upgrade mine and I placed a few bids on that Evil website.

Xikar has a lifetime warranty that a lot of people have used for their lighters. I have a Colibri that went tits up so I am out $80 with no chance of getting a new lighter. It's a shame because I liked the guillotine and "V" cutter on the side of it. I have a Lotus table lighter now that works very well. My next will be a Xikar so I do not have to worry about a failure. Yes, it sucks having to take it back if it goes bad, but at least you are not out any more money. I have a Xikar guillotine cutter that works very well. My brother used it and said that he likes it more than his Paleo that cost thee times as much as the Xikar.

Xikar's warranty is the best. No questions asked. I dropped mine and it broke into pieces, my b&m just handed me a new one, even filled it up for me.
There will be whores, tits and sex.

They sent a new lighter but it's still kinda hit or miss. It was really disappointing after all the praise I'd heard.

Cool. Thanks fellas. Will a B&M replace it even if I buy it online? I paid a good bit for a Colibri guillotine cutter and it's never been real good. Not sharp enough.

Yes you can go to any Xikar dealer regardless of where you purchased it.

Enjoying a CAO Brazilia Gol right now. The first one of this batch had a really doughy flavor but a couple months in the humidor really worked wonders. Now it's a creamy cashew flavor with just enough spicy underlying each puff to balance it out.
