Just got back from a week-long trip, and I thought I had a couple of those Monte Cristos stored. Yep, so I fired one up.

Pretty bland smoke, I must say. Lots of heat, fast burn and not much else.

I have been much happier with the White Series though.

I'm smoking a Flor de las Antillas tonight. Living life pretty close to the edge - wife is away, and I'm smoking in the house :-) Next to the fireplace, so the smoke will go outside.



I just bought a Lempe Berger, so I'm going to test it and see if the smoke smell is undetectable in the morning.

It has been a while since I posted here. I have been extremely busy and not smoking as much as I'd like. I have had a few though here and there.

Jeff, I hope all goes well and you recover quickly to enjoy some of your cigars.

I am over in Afghanistan, can't say more than that, be home in January.

I started smoking mainly the little cigarillos by Acid (Connecticut blues).

I picked up a sampler from CI and am enjoying trying the different ones.

So far ones I have enjoyed:

Gurkha the Beast
Rocky Patel Connecticut
CAO Gold Double Robusto
Torano Vega Dominicana

Didn't enjoy:
Acid Kuba Kuba - didn't smoke well
5 Vegas Miami Toro - too strong for my liking
