The Half Ashed Cigar Lounge - and sticks with protection.
I have a tool to loosen up tight cigars. I have come across a few that I needed to use it on. One was a La Gloria Cubana and the other I do not remember what it was. Out of about 40 LA Gloria Cubana that I have smoked, only one needed to be "reamed" out. All were purchased at CI, not shipped to my house. Maybe I'm just lucky, I guess!

As a matter of fact, I'm smoking an N as I type this

My local has these. Ill pcik 1 up.

Never had an issue with CIs cigars being more tight than others. Seems random to me. I buy both ways from a few shops

Petr, the only thing I've been able to smoke from the pot o' gars is a Jericho Hill from Gator. I've been working some hellacious hours lately. Since mid June, I've only had a handful of cigars. I've had an Undercrown, a La Aroma de Cuba, and some sort of RP second... I'm hoping some of the humidity bleeds off this coming week, and I can get to a couple in the coming week (plus I have a feeling I may need a good cigar on Wednesday as thats when I find out when I'm having patellar realignment surgery on my knee).

I will update as I smoke them..

Oh no! I hope everything works out with your knee. I know all about long hours. Most of My hours are here at home though, so I can sneak in a cigar.

Bought the last 2 RP Sungrowns in a box with about a 55 ring gauge. Nice burn, great smoke to the end. Very even burn. This cigar is bigger than my usual faves which are about 50-52. Paired it with a Scream IPA from New Glarus. The beer while fantastic was not up to the intense flavor of the cigar. Going to go for a stout with the next one.

Well, T-minus one hour I'll be the at the RomaCraft event at the Cigar Club in Lake Charles. Skip Martin, Mike Rosales, and Esteban Disla will be there for a meet and greet as well as taking questions. If anyone has any questions for them I'll try to check this thread and ask them for you.

Well, I was finally able to smoke a couple of cigars today.. Started by mowing the lawn while smoking a Jamie Gacia Reserva Especial. It's my first of the band, and it was a good smoke. Sharp burn, and tons of leather and woody notes in the smoke.

Now, I'm doing some work from home and smoking one of the Pot O' Gars that I got. To be honest, I was going to put a note in the bag of gars from each, but I forgot and now I'm not sure who this one is from... It's a very good cigar with great construction and draw. Notes of spice, leather, and a grassy finish.

Not from me, but look back through the pages to find your posts of the pictures you posted to find out whom they are from.

That Red band Tat is quite good though!

Last one for the evening! Lots of pepper and very bold. I had a hard time getting it to burn straight, but that hasn't affected the quality so far! Thanks Petr!

You are welcome! Yeah they burn at a slant but not too much of a wave in it. I really enjoy that one due to it's boldness and a flavor that I can't pin point. Not only that, it's only $5!
