Today I was talking with one of the kids... and car drove by us on the highway going a little quicker than us...80 by my eye-crometer/radar gun.
She said,”they are going fast.”
I said,” yea! They’re really Holly Machen’!” Now that term, I got when I was a lil older, but that made me think of “bookin”! Like, “I booked over to the store to get the new Spider-Man comic...”
What do you recall, or what where some of the terms you recall.
Try to keep it on the clean side, everyday use sorta thing.

I remember being a kid and Semis would blow your doors off on the highway constantly. Not so much anymore.
We came up on a crazy heavy rain the other day and I said man what a gully washer. My boys thought that was the funniest phrase and now anytime it rains it is a fully washer. It is funny the things kids get a kick out of.
