I echo the skepticism said by others. We just don't know who to trust Even if true, we don't know the purpose the information is being shared and what the expected reaction is supposed to be.

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.

But now, everything coming from the government is a lie... until proven otherwise.
Since all of the Covid lies I think a lot of people have lost what little faith they had in government.

Sigh….

First off, I agree 100%. I too assume everything from the government is a lie until proven true.

Second off, that can’t be good. Frown

Anyone remember Trump being on his deathbed when he shuffled down a wet ramp? Or how about when he drank from a cup, while holding it with both hands?

And then, there's Generalissimo Francisco Franco.

Don't even get me started.

Anything I can do to help speed it up?

And in breaking news, Ted Kennedy is still sober

No, he’s not. Embalming fluid has a very long half-life.

When I read it in the Weekly World News or the Globe, I’ll believe it, like in MIB best source of news is supermarket tabloids.

I've occasionally read when someone has been stung by cancer that he wouldn't wish it on his worst enemy. I think we can make an exception here.

I'm certain that most of us would agree with you. He's made history alright. In his own words - 'I intend to erase Ukraine from the map'. His forces are waging the main war on unarmed civilians, and using scorched-earth tactics. He has lied to his own people about the 'liberation of Ukraine from the scourge of nazi occupation by the West'.

In addition, he has made his country a pariah to a huge global audience - ensuring that as long as there will be recorded history the exploits of Russian will never be forgotten.

If he does have cancer and finds out it is terminal, will it bother him too much to "push the button" and take most of the world with him?

Since it's not that likely that he's actually "pushing a button" himself, I suspect some others that aren't ready to go, cancer or otherwise, might have second thoughts.
That's probably happening all the time and just waiting to achieve critical mass.

Some are, some aren't as bad.
Acute leukemia types can kill you in as little as months; you can live 30 years with some of the chronic forms of leukemia.

In recent photos, his face seems a bit puffy which could very well be from taking Prednisone or similar steroid. I took it for awhile for my MDS and it caused quite a bit of fat in my face, back of the neck and abdomen. These conditions subsided after about a month off of the drug.

Back when I used to be a high tier frequent flyer, I read a novel or two every business trip.

I can't recall the author or the title, but the plot matches. Russia trying to reform the Soviet Union, Putin secretly has cancer, etc. The most memorable part of the plot was they set up a treatment facility in an abandoned cold war facility, brought in the top doctors and scientists, and killed the staff after treatment to keep the cancer a secret.
