Guess I got spoiled with polo shirts from Willis and Geiger. Unfortunately, they are no longer. I do still have two of their polo shirts that I wear on special occasions. Since then, I have not found polo shirts I care for and the prices are out of this world. My wife sews occasionally so think will talk to her about making a few polo shirts, at least better material and Made in USA. Smile

Seems like most of my Duluth Trading stuff is made in either Bangladesh or Vietnam.

They do have some Made in USA items, but most of their stuff is made overseas.

L.L Bean. When they have their sales, Filson shirts are also fantastic. Got to get them on sale though...twice a year.

I got tired of exchanging them every 6-7 months as they shrink up to non tall length.

I've never bought a polo shirt in my life but have a half dozen that have various manufacturers logos on them that I was given for attending various classes.

But the one I'm proudest of is the one from Birddog Operations, The Nevada Test Site (Area 51).

Only sold to employees, but I got one as an honorary employee.

Where do you buy yours? If online, what website?

Do you know where (what country) they are made?

I try to avoid made in China when I can, but that's not always practical.

Dillards, usually Sanford Mall, Hoviedo mall has little inventory. I get the Rountree and Yorke house brand. Usually they have big sales on them. If you need the RL logo, they sell them as well...

They have Tall n Big...

Thanks guys. I've been trying to replace some old ragged Nike polos that worked really well for a number of years. But I am moving on from Nike and wanted to see what else was out there.

I tend to gravitate toward Under Armour for polos and tees.

I used to get the JCPenny store brand, Foundry, because they were good enough for the price and JCP sent out store coupons almost every week. Then I found Carhartt polos on Amazon that came with a pocket on the shirt. More pockets are always convenient but makes it twice the price compared to JCP.

I have their dress shirts and they are great quality. However, I have not tried their polo style shirts.

I am not at home now to check country of origin, though.

I have quite a few 5.11 professional polo shirts in short and long sleeve. They are very well made and substantial, the collars in particular, and have worn like iron for me. No pocket but the left upper sleeves have a pen pocket. The only place they get damaged is from the rear sight of whatever I am carrying (Meprolight sights seem to have some edges that could be smoother). I have never paid full retail for them. The last time I got some it was on amazon and they were long sleeved ones for about $25 each.

Machine wash and mine shrunk only very slightly. I don't iron but just hang them on Ikea wooden hangers from out of the dryer and they always look good.
