My mom got all emotional about it. I have photos in Imgur but don’t think I have permission. How do I upload them? Pretty cool seeing it further foo-fooed up and detailed Saturday was fun.

Sweet! Beautiful car!

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

Looks just like mine...only with a top. I love that midnight blue color on Mustangs. I've been wanting to paint mine that color but was quoted $12,000 for the job. That's going to have to wait. Big Grin

Beautiful car. Auto Mechanics H.S. shop teacher for 29 years is a great achievement. I can only imagine how many kids he motivated.

He did a really nice job on it. The picture in front of the church is from many years ago. Denton High School had a really robust vocational program, so his friends in the Auto Body program probably helped. Sure didn’t look like that when he bought it. Think our friend who bought it has put new tires and wheels and maybe paint on it. I was a lucky girl. Daddy REALLY liked cars and he could hardly wait when I was coming up on sixteen for the excuse to buy another cool car. I had a sweet 67 Cougar.

There were quite a few guys he placed while they were still in high school who retired from the same dealership. I always laughed that people who sneer at folks who don’t go to college don’t know those guys made far more money and had much better benefits than I did as a paralegal.
