Touch up paint for wheels?
I got a new to me Suburban a few months back with some aftermarket wheels.

One of the wheels has some scratches / flaking of the gloss black paint in the center of the wheel.

This is what it is supposed to look like.

These are rather small, the largest missing piece is half the size of a dime. How should I touch up these spots?

Model paint with a little brush? Touch up pen from the auto parts store? Or just color it in with a Sharpie?

I do not need this thing to be show quality work. I just want it to be good enough so that when I walk by that wheel I do not notice it like I do now.

A sharpie won’t last too many washes. I’d probably go with model paint.

Center cap should be replaceable.
I’d just call Niche for a replacement.

I took off a wheel. While it does not appear to be all one part, it also does not appear to be something that is user replaceable.

Give it a gentle tap from the inside when the wheel is off and it should pop out.
There is likely a groove machined into the hub and a metal snap ring expands into the groove and is pretty much hidden.

Replace the entire center cap...Ebay!

Niche charges WAY too much if you source from them, OR from any Niche wheel supplier. There are excellent sources/sellers on Ebay for these. I purchased a set for my son's new summer wheels because he didn't like the original Niche center caps and want different Niche branded ones. Niche wanted at least $30 each, and we got a complete set for $29 from this seller:

They were Genuine Niche Center Caps, complete with the Holographic label, and the P/N was molded into the back of the plastic base of the cap. They were very well packaged (in the original Niche packaging) and shipped quickly! Just search for the P/N on the back of your Center Cap.

FYI - I pop them off with the handle end of a Breaker Bar. I'm already using the Breaker Bar to loosen the lugs anyway, and it's long enough to easily reach through 10.5" wide wheels, plus it's got enough weight to it that it's basically effortless and it pops the Center Cap right into my hand.

Well I'll be darned. And I threw away an entire rim a few weeks ago with a perfectly good center cap because the rim was cracked. I guess I should have inspected it more closely and saved the center cap.
