Sunrises on Lake Ontario are quite nice too. Somewhere I have a picture that I took many years ago up by Kingston looking east over the water. Beautiful sunrise with fog over the shoreline and water.

I've got a photo on my den wall that I took back in 2000 with a disposable Kodak camera. Looking east out of the Kingston Ramada over the marina, it shows sunrise over the headland location of the Royal Military Academy - home of Canada's military officers. The flag has just been raised. I'd love you guys to see it, but I've never go the hang of posting images here. Can anybody help?

Pace, I am honored and humbled. These are simply photos I take with my cell phone and like to share to show the beauty that's out there. Please feel free to use them as you like.

Just an incredible place to be. I've fished Irondequoit Bay for 20 years, just around the corner from Sodus, so I enjoy those photos !

Here is Tacfoley's photo that he referenced above. It's also a beauty! This thread is making me miss the big lake. We're going to be on Superior at the end of the month...I can't wait!

A few years back, I went out fishing on Superior during early August. We got down to the dock just as the sun was starting to break on the horizon. Though it was quickly melting, I was amazed to see ice had formed in spots around the dock.
