HRKWhich phone service do you use for home business
Right now I use a VOIP line to a desk handset through ATT Fiber 1 GB
the Handset is an ATT 1080 and it's in need of replacing, and I'd like a larger LCD screen, this one is small and fading. I also run a Jabra headset that connects to the handset and has BT to the Iphone.
So it's time to replace the headset, looking at ATT CD4930 because of the display, or, ATT ML 17929, smaller display but will work.
or
Is there a digital PC based service that I could use, Teams, or other, port the local line over which the 800 number is directed to, that I could eliminate the ATT line and expense. Also would not need a handset? as it would all work on the PC.
Right now I have Ring Central for inbound outbound fax, they have a service for phones as well.
I think the Jabra will hook to the PC possibly and I could use it, or,
Port the land line to the iPhone as a second line..
Opinions are solicited...

architectFirst of all, any SIP phone set will work with any SIP service provider. You are not limited to ATT products.
I have, many times in this forum, recommended
VoIP.ms for SIP phone service. I use them myself, and have installed multiple customer sites. I have searched far and wide for a provider of equal or better quality at a decent price point (the most expensive providers are often the poorest in what they offer).
I usually specify
Grandstream SIP phones for clients, specifically the GXP/GRP lines, but have used many phone brands, and even free softphones as end-user terminals (I use a macOS app named "Telephone"). I would be happy to discuss details in e-mail should any forum member wish to discuss this in detail. I personally use a Ubiquiti UniFi phone, but most people find these too pricey for wide-scale deployment.
I find that handset preference is a very individual one. Some people like a lot of buttons, some prefer simplicity, and feature preferences are all over the place. As for handset vendors, I recommend not buying from a service provider, but from an independent store. I have used
VoIP Supply for a number of purchases, and can recommend them.

Powers77I have made it a life mission to vote against ANYTHING AT&T every time the subject comes up.
The most corrupt and dishonest major corporation I've ever had the displeasure of having to deal with in my many years.
If there's sound or emails coming from them, that's how you know they are just looking for a way to screw you.

V-TailThe real AT&T ceased to exist after the 1982 consent decree. The current thing that calls itself AT&T is a gigantic turd.

The turd formerly known as Cingular. They were crap before they adopted the ATT name in a vain attempt to leverage the reputation of the old AT&T/Bell System (which was a much more reasonable firm, pretty much the only valid criticism was that they maintained artificially high prices).
Cingular/ATT Mobile is run by people who should be holding their board meetings in a prison cell.
