Like many here, I watched the original three SW films and I have largely forgotten about them. But I always considered Hamill's acting as horrible, just a huge step down from all others around him. And of course his lack of acting chops landed him basically zero roles outside the SW universe, unlike his co-stars. And he has become insufferable with his TDS, he and DeNiro, both deranged idiots. Unlike some here, I liked Mark Hamill for many years but, like most, I've been disappointed in how he's gone off the deep end in recent years. Maybe portraying a homicidal maniac for over 30 years has affected more than his bank account? Speaking of which, he recognized his strengths and weaknesses long ago and focused on voice acting, where he excelled.
