But this seems to read as they didn't proactively indoctrinate the volunteer. That the policies they have are just and appropriate, it's just that they didn't ensure the volunteer was aware of them. This is the extent of their mistake.

To which, if true, MS Society can go fuck themselves. Their DEI policies need to DIE.

Yep, it's the "sorry we got caught" apology.

I learned many years ago that most of these larger organizations shouldn't get my money or time.

They are bureaucratic, inefficient and top heavy groups that hijack a virtuous sounding name and are best at lobbying government and big corporations to pay up. The funding goes to big salaries at the top and slick advertising campaigns.

Without meaning to, they did this lady and the public a favor by exposing their hypocrisy.
