I wonder what Allstate's renewal rate will be like in the next few months with their addiction to divisiveness and negativity.

I don't think he could have fired a 50AE Desert Eagle inside an enclosed vehicle without it being kinda obvious in the video or anyone passing by.

^^^^^^ Why would anyone, especially a Green Beret, choose a .50 caliber handgun to put a bullet through his temple? I'm not saying that he did not do exactly that. I think there are records of his purchase earlier in the day. It just strikes me very strange, and I can't quite understand it. It's kind of like using a hand grenade to kill a mosquito.

Well, if you want to be sure it did the job and not lay there still alive and conscious because you used a 9mm. Also, maybe the Desert Eagle was one of his Grail guns that he always wanted.

False. There has been no mention anywhere of divorce. Though that was probably in their future.
I saw the 2 ex’s on a news clip online.
Other reports say he had at least one ex wife. Other reports state Current wife is leaving him for his cheating.
So who knows.

Edited. These lawyers gotta drum up money somehow.

As long as the lawyers get paid, that's all that matters...

Oh for crissake.... You knew at some point the mil-pod/vlog sphere would spin into shitty finger-pointing and schoolyard accusations, looks like we're here as a active-duty SOF member clacked himself-off with a wild email that's capturing headlines and got every former mil/gov employee declaring themselves experts and all-knowing. <shaking head>

That's covered in the press conference as well.

Regarding the CIVCAS accusations: utter bullshit. I was in Nimroz in 2019 conducting strike missions; impossible to hide what he claims. It may be Afghanistan’s least populated province and there’s no way to hide losing that many buildings. To anyone experienced with the SOF targeted strike game, his claims are obviously false.
The rest I don’t know (although it all smells like BS), but all of his AFG claims are untrue and I would know. The fact he mentions USFORA and not the numbered Task Force names = he’s not someone actually involved. Not to mention the Taliban was active on twitter then and controlled Nimroz (which was at that time where a lot of the OG Al Qaeda types lived) and would absolutely have exploited such a thing… it’s just trash. Impossible to cover up what he alleged happened.

Thanks for your comments.
Regardless of his previous service and accomplishments, committing suicide in the manner he did* demonstrates that he was a very disturbed man. Can we believe that someone like that might lie about his knowledge and experiences due to a grudge of some sort, mental delusions or ignorant assumptions†, or for some other reason? I suppose I’m getting close to mental masturbatory speculation myself, but some speculation is more likely and meaningful than others.
* And yes, assuming he wasn’t killed by the real actors for some bizarre reason and left in the self-driving vehicle to make it appear that he killed himself.
† I know from personal experience that wild rumors and beliefs abounded during and after the Vietnam War that were spread by otherwise rational people.

Every. Single. Time. No one is really ever "held accountable"... no one is fired or pays personally. The cost of government goes up, services get worse, debt increases.

Interesting new revelations from the Las Vegas Sheriff...
A longer (6 page) manifesto was discovered, but will not yet be released in entirety.
The suspect used AI for his operation.
His hands were on the steering wheel as he pulled up, an indication that the vehicle was probably not in any kind of self-driving mode.
The material in the truck bed included 75 pounds of lead birdshot, suggesting a more destructive intent even though he stated his wish not to harm anyone else.
The materials used included 60 lbs of pyrotechnics (possibly more), exploding targets similar to tannerite, smokeless powder, camping fuels, and racing fuel that was poured over the truck bed to initiate conflagration.
There is no evidence that any kind of detonation system or remote mechanism was used. The explosion may have been initiated by the muzzle blast of the Desert Eagle alone (the initial flashpoint was inside the cabin). A fuel-air deflagration in turn ignited the other explosives. It is not ruled out that simply a lighter was used just before the gunshot. Hobby fuse may have played a role as well.

FWIW: The large amount of muzzle flash associated with this caliber would increase the likelihood that the gasoline fumes inside the vehicle's passenger compartment would be ignited upon firing. He wanted the vehicle to blow up, but in the event it merely ignited, he didn't want to suffer the pain associated with burning to death.

Clear, slow-motion video in the video linked in kkina's post above yours of exactly the muzzle flash setting it off.

No one. State legislature codified and expanded “indemnity” last year amending the state constitution which passed full state election
Any civil suit is already dead in the water
Local talk radio had a long discussion with lawyers who specialize in the Napoleonic Law and LA Constitution about it yesterday
