I am very grateful that all of you remembered and honored my directive about things such as this.

The DEI- excuse me- the FBI has now confirmed that this asshole crossed the southern border at Eagle Pass in November, but don't worry. The gals- Grandma and Shaniqua, who, I am certain are the most qualified people to be in their respective positions- got up to the podium and told us that this is not a terror attack.

I believe the ABC headlines I first saw this morning said 'terror attack'. First impression may prove to be correct, despite the apologists. Last I saw, 12 deceased and 30 injured. One IED detonated.

Sure looks like an ISIS flag attached to the rear of that truck. How long until we find out he was on the FBIs radar?

Can't be. The DEI says it isn't a terror attack.

At least the cops greased the asshole. NYE in NOLA is heavily policed, and I am surprised the guy did not pick a softer target.
And I am doubly glad my son put NOLA in his rear view mirror! He might have been there!

Andy Ngo is reporting that the pick-up was rented out on the peer to peer vehicle rental site called Turo (i.e. makes the border crossing of the vehicle irrelevant) and had an ISIS flag in it.

...
A law enforcement source speaking to The Advocate said that the suspect was carrying an ISIS flag in the truck.
...
It has also been reported that the EV Ford F-150 was rented out by the truck's owner via the Turo car sharing app.

Houston's NBC affiliate is reporting that the terrorist lived in Harris County, TX (i.e. county that contains Houston):

LIVE: Driver identified as Houston resident in New Orleans’ New Year’s attack that killed 10

NEW ORLEANS – Sources via NBC News have confirmed the man who was behind the wheel and accused of driving a truck through a crowd of pedestrians gathered to celebrate New Year’s.

That EV makes a perfect weapon for this. Big, very heavy, fast, and quiet.

Apparently the street barriers that are normally up to close the streets for events like this were not in use.

This type of attack was inevitable. The surprising thing is we haven't seen more. The democrats have blood on their hands.

Then following the lefties' usual logic, this means we should ban EV's! Oh, but that doesn't fit the narrative either, does it? What a conundrum for our lefty friends...

It’s outrageous that something like this happened on NYE / NYD on one of the popular ‘party’ streets in the nation.

As BH mentioned, the fixed steel bollards protecting the entrance to the streets were not installed.

I am preparing myself to eventually hear “Was known to authorities.”

Mad

FUBAR!!

ETA - The complete and utter TRIPE flowing forth out of LA’s congressman rep. troy carter on abc news right now is pure HORSESHIT! Talking about how they take ‘public safety’ very seriously. How fucking obtuse. Four huge concrete blocks placed at the street entrance would have made this terrorist attack impossible.

Fox Raw News reporting he is a US Citizen born in Texas.

Other online reporting is that he served in the military at some time. So radicalized on our soil and that’s just harder to track.

Yep. I've been waiting to hear that he was on the FBI's "radar".

I’m gonna guess that Din Jabbar is not a Presbyterian. Glad they shot the bastard, otherwise his trial and sentencing would be drug out for years, and he’d likely not pay with his worthless life. Prayers for swift and complete recovery of the NOLA police officers wounded in the exchange with this bastard.

All because of the despicable piece of shit occupying the White House right now. And his "border czar" whore. How many already died, and how many more will, because of these two maggots?
