Softball games on un-lighted fields with 1st pitch at midnight 12pm/00am. At least that was happening in the early 1970s in the interior of Alaska (FT.Greely/Delta Junction ,Alaska ) there was 24hrs daylight. No problems in seeing the soft ball. Greenhorns had to put tin foil on windows to fool the body clock because looking out window showed daylight but clocks showed bedtime...................drill sgt.

I'm with you. I love the long days.
In my area of Virginia, it's been the coolest, wettest summer I remember. All of June has been overcast, raining and in the 60's temps. I like the heat.

Hugh's Summer Solstice Picker's Bask is postponed. While we usually play in a tonally distant fashion, social distance makes it hard to even play in the same key and beat. But the real reason is his recent surgical procedure.

I am rather enjoying this weather.

My lawn and trees are the best they have been in many years and I am not having to water them.

In my area of Michigan I have some Willow trees that have lost leaves due to lack of rain.

Beware Northern Virginia, beware.

I'm a heading outdoors to do my summer solstice Celtic, Druidic and Pagan nekkid dancing around and 'round my stone circle and bonfire. I also plan to join my Celtic, Druidic, and Pagan friends in doing similar Celtic, Druidic, and Pagan activities for which one must be NEKKID and outdoors!!!

Gotta get it done before the sun goes down since I go to bed early cause I'm old.

Avert thy eyes @>@.

Listen for the wailing of those that heed not my warning!
