“I don’t vote with my vagina. I vote with my brain.

I’m a swing voter, a centrist, socially liberal and fiscally conservative, who has voted on both sides of the aisle. No party OWNS ME or MY VOTE. They have to EARN it. I guess that means I “ain’t Asian.”

Full disclosure: I didn’t vote for Trump and was shocked when he won, but I couldn’t, in good conscience, vote for crooked Hillary either.

Buckle up, people. This is my #walkaway story:

I am a woman.

I have always been pro-choice, but I don’t believe in late term abortions. The issue of viability has been completely thrown out the window by the left. They are now advocating outright MURDER. I believe in equal treatment and pay for equal work, but I don’t believe you have to put down and attack men in order to lift up and support women.

I am an immigrant.

I came to the US after my parents waited years to get their application approved. It took more than ten for us to become citizens. I believe America has been made richer and fuller by immigrants, but I also believe in LEGAL immigration. Much in the same way, I would never tell those on organ transplant waitlists that they’re SOL because some people decided to storm the hospital and demand organs. Because I believe in FAIRNESS.

I am a minority.

Growing up, I experienced my share of racism and defended myself from bullies who hurled racial slurs and told me to go back to my country—China, Japan, Vietnam. (I’m KOREAN. If you’re going to insult me, get it right.) The majority of these events occurred while living in my LIBERAL hometown of NYC. But I never felt sorry for myself. That which doesn’t kill us, makes us stronger.

I am a mother.

I’m the proud parent of a beautiful bisexual daughter who is an up-and-coming comedian. I’ve supported LGBTQ rights long before she was born, even getting into a physical altercation with a crazed homophobic woman and her cousin in defense of my gay best friend.

I am an activist.

I didn’t grow up with a lot of money, but that’s never stopped me from giving my time and donating to causes throughout my life including the homeless, breast cancer, sustainability, underprivileged kids, third world poverty, LGBTQ, minority, and women’s rights.

I am a writer and poet.

Over the years, I have witnessed an increasingly hostile war on creativity and free speech, fueled by the left through the coercive tactics of SJWs, PC and “woke” cancel culture. The arts are supposed to challenge, make us uncomfortable, shock and even OFFEND us. (The painting of Jesus smeared in feces, anyone?)

I am a former New Yorker.

Raised in pre-gentrified Hell’s Kitchen, I lived in a predominantly black and Hispanic neighborhood, one of only a few Asian families, a minority among minorities. I was both ostracized and embraced by POCs. As such, I learned quickly not to judge by the COLOR of ONE’S SKIN but by the CONTENT of THEIR CHARACTER.

I am ALL the things that Democrats and the left CLAIM to welcome and accept.

EXCEPT when I use my brain. EXCEPT when I think for myself and question the leftist or MSM narrative. When I apply logic, reason, common sense, data, science, and facts over emotion.

But, first and foremost, I am an AMERICAN.

I LOVE my adopted country and want to see ALL of us flourish and prosper. We’re not perfect, but we have always been a people who strive to do and be better. We are also the most generous nation in the world. It pains me that people on the left would rather—almost gleefully—see us divided and collapse into ruin simply because of their HATE for ONE MAN.

My decision to #walkaway has been a long time coming as I have witnessed the left devolve into intolerance, violence, and sanctimonious condescension.

What has become of the Democratic Party, its leaders, and the left fills me with horror, sadness, and disgust. They have become the radical, judgmental, self-righteous zealots that they have, for decades, derided extreme Evangelicals of being.

It’s no longer about policy differences. You can’t have a civil debate. Either you agree or you’re falsely accused of being all the usual suspects: bigot, racist, sexist, homophobe, BLAH, BLAH, BULLSHIT BLAH, and told to SHUT UP or DIE.

Really? The parents who loved and raised you, the brothers, sisters, aunts and uncles who supported you, the friends you leaned on and whose companionship you joyed in for years have, overnight, embraced NAZI values?!? Did you even STUDY history? Do you have ANY inkling what the Holocaust was? Your IGNORANCE is appalling.

The leftist Doublethink is as astounding as it is obscene.

LIES have pushed me away.

FACT: Real Russian collusion occurred when the Obama administration handed over 20% control of US uranium production to Russia.

FACT: Real voter fraud occurred when the DNC, in league with the media, attempted to hand Hillary the Presidency. They’ve screwed over Bernie TWICE, now handing over the nomination to Biden.

FACT: Real obstruction of justice occurred when Hillary and her cohorts DESTROYED EVIDENCE with a hammer and deletion software. When James Comey drafted her acquittal letter BEFORE he deposed her.

FACT: Real quid pro quo occurred through Hillary’s stint as Secretary of State and her money laundering scam, the Clinton Global Initiative. A “philanthropic” organization supposedly intended to help people around the world, yet she closed shop right after losing the election. Did the world’s problems suddenly disappear? What happened to the hundreds of millions in donations?

FACT: Real Ukrainian quid pro quo happened when Biden coerced their government to fire the prosecutor investing his son’s business improprieties.

FACT: Far more instances of unarmed blacks killed by police occurred during Obama’s watch, mostly in Democrat cities. Yet Obama and Democrats DID NOTHING to address police reform.

FACT: Trump had MANY Democrat friends including Jesse Jackson, Kamala Harris, Cory Booker, Hillary Clinton, etc. They LOVED him (and his money) right up until he announced his nomination—as a REPUBLICAN.

Only THEN did they turn on him. Only THEN did they accuse him of being a racist, bigot, homophobe, etc. He INVENTED racism. He’s HITLER incarnate. They would all be singing his praises had he obediently followed leftist Democratic dogma.

Also living in NYC, I grew up reading about Trump in newspapers for most of my life, seen him pictured with every race under the sun. He’s had his failures and successes in business and personal life plastered all over the front pages and gossip columns.

He’s a narcissist—as are virtually ALL POLITICIANS and CEOs. But he’s also a brash, decisive businessman who, nevertheless, gets things done. POLICIES and SOLUTIONS over SMOOTH TALK and RHETORIC. Not once did he hold himself out to be a clever or polished politician.

TRUMP didn’t CHANGE. The NARRATIVE of the left and media DID. Just as it has about EVERY SINGLE PERSON who dared to question or refused to kowtow to their leftist ideology.

Unlike Hillary with her bottle of hot sauce or Biden who condescendingly claims “You ain’t black” if you don’t vote Democrat, Trump won’t pander. Instead, he has invited minority leaders to the White House, given them a seat at the table to discuss REAL ISSUES and find REAL SOLUTIONS.

The left claims that Trump is the WORST racist ever.

I couldn’t agree more.

He IS the worst. He’s SO bad at it that he:

- put up Jennifer Hudson and her family for free at his hotel and provided security after her mother and brother were murdered
- forced Palm Beach to allow blacks and Jews membership at WASPy country clubs
- passed the First Step Act
- signed a Police Reform Executive Order
- created Opportunity Zones in minority neighborhoods across the country
- enacted a Maternity Mortality Bill to address the disproportion deaths of minority women during childbirth
- increased funding for Historic Black Colleges and Universities to be granted in perpetuity
- held a Black Leadership Youth Summit
- signed an Executive Order that priorities skills, talent, and relevant work experience over a college degree to equalize the workplace for those who couldn’t afford higher education
- signed an Executive Order to help Native Americans who go missing or are killed
- signed an Executive Order to improve education and businesses for Latinos and Hispanics

But the final nails on the coffin have been the abject HYPOCRISY of Democratic “leaders” and their FATAL MISMANAGEMENT of the pandemic and BLM protests. States with the highest COVID death tolls and highest inner city murders are ALL run by DEMOCRATS.

You’re a “grandma killer” if you protest to reopen businesses so you can feed your family, but a “freedom fighter” if you riot, loot, commit arson or kill. You need a mask to enter a store to PURCHASE an item, but don’t need one to break in and STEAL.

I believe that black lives matter.
But I no longer believe in Black Lives Matter.

BLM and Democratic “leaders” have only doubled down, encouraged and abetted violent riots which has CAUSED the devastation of black neighborhoods and the DEATHS of INNOCENT LIVES—including BLACK CHILDREN. They don’t truly care about black lives or ANY lives. They ONLY care about pushing their Marxist/Socialist/Communist agenda—at ANY price.

They are frauds. MURDERERS.

And they have the nerve to accuse Trump supporters of hate and violence?!?

I gladly walked away. Hell, I’ve RUN AWAY! I will be voting STRAIGHT RED in November!”

We don't have Television. I cut the cable many years ago. Instead I fill my down time watching #walkaway videos and Dinesh D'Souza content. Throw in the Dr. Petersen, Jesse Lee Petersen, Victor Davis Hansen, Mark Levin, on and on..... I don't miss television one tiny bit. These walkaway videos have more often than not drawn tears as I watch these people pour out their souls for liberty. Brandon Straka is a great example of what one daring, bold individual can do with the truth.
