upload image site Something to think about next time one of the idiot Dems promises to end fracking, offshore drilling or whatever. Look at everything that has happened in the middle east recently. Iran attacked Saudi Arabia and it's oil production facilities. Syria is a disaster. Israel's government is up in the air. And oil prices pretty stable. Expanded US production has been one of the best things to happen to this country and the global economy in the 21st century. The left wants us to again be dependent on the most screwed-up region of the planet for our energy needs. I hope Trump hits this theme harder in his campaign.

Drill baby, drill. Remember that phrase not too long ago? The democrat politicians said it would be at least 20 years before there would be any help there and it was only a year or two before things got better. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AfH-vjCY-_o ___________________________ Avoid buying ChiCom/CCP products whenever possible.

Maybe it was poor timing for the transition to winter blend, but fuel prices around here shot up 50 cents around the same time Trump announced he was recalling the troops from Syria. Personally I would keep US oil in the ground, as in a savings bank. We can sell high tech products and food world wide to offset purchasing oil from the ME. IF the world every runs low on fossil fuels, our navy and tanks are going to need every drop they can get. -c1steve

At the current rate of consumption of 18 million barrels a day, we have a couple of hundred years of oil reserves in the US alone. The rate of consumption is down 11% off the peak and is thought to continue to decline. We could crank up production and put the world into more chaos. Starving the oil-producing countries of the world suddenly would not be a good thing.
