This may go without saying, but this chart posted to CNBC this morning illustrates this clearly.

I grew up in Nassau County. While it isn't as conservative as it used to be (when growing up the term "Nassau County Republican" ran off the tongue pretty easily, and the Republicans dominated the politics), there are places that are a LOT more liberal.

I guarantee you Detroit isn't exactly a hotbed of wealthy anybody--liberal, leftist or otherwise Wink Nor, I wager, is Newark.

I'd like to see more data. That could be very cherry-picked. Maybe it isn't, but you can't draw a conclusion on that data.

Brings to mind one of my favorite Samuel Langhorne Clemens quotes*, “Therr are three kinds of lies: lies, damned lies, and statistics.”
*According to Wikipedia, Twain attributed it to Benjamin Disraeli, but it didn’t show up in any of his writings and the earliest known use is after Disraeli‘s death. Oh well, still a good one.

I have no opinion on this matter, which makes me one of about only 20 or so people on the planet who do not.

Any data seen on an NBC network is dubious.

Or any other network, for that matter.

Correlation DOES NOT mean casuality. Basic college statistics. Really stupid logic.

"Causality" perhaps?

I suspect that religious differences, or the influence of anti-vaccination local persons may have more to do with it than wealth.

According to first paragraph in linked article states the correlation between wealth individuals in certain locales with antivaxing; this according to Blue Cross data thru 2018.

1st paragraph of link:

“A growing number of parents are refusing to get their kids vaccinated, especially in wealthier and more highly educated pockets of the country, according to 2018 data from Blue Cross Blue Shield.”
