Have you read it? It's a real treat. Because it's an "amendment."

My family is from ME and NH, France, Scotland and more. I'm a proper mutt. I grew up in MA. I'm fairly certain I'm adopted, because while I took the local history to heart, everyone else is blue no matter who.

I really have a lot to say about this new turd, I mean law. There is one key piece.

As of Aug 1, anything lawfully possessed and registered, is legal for sale and transfer.

The rest of the bill is a mire.

It's bad. Very bad. Some things that were in the bill, are gone. It is a pile of shit. What they've unwittingly done, is greatly expanded the "grey market."

Gun laws are dumb and don't prevent crime.

Right, their design is the make criminals out of law abiding, gun owning American citizens. Plain and simple. That is their goal.

It's a pile of shit. The only two things changed, are that existing guns can be sold/transferred, and they ditched the registration and serialization of magazines. After that it makes CA look timid.

I'm a patriot. I'll die here. I'm just one guy.

I'll die here. Of old age, or if they want to ring the doorbell...

Didn't they basically ban all semi auto rifles by adding "barrel shroud" to the list of items that make something an "assault weapon"? It doesn't matter to me. I have 2 years in this shithole of a state and I'm out. Moving for retirement was my plan, it's not just this recent law.

I'm glad people choose to stay and fight, but quite frankly, I'm sick of losing.

These go to eleven.

I no longer recognize the state in which I was born, and spent most of the first third of my life.

My kids are still there, and I go back regularly to visit. I left for work reasons in 2002, when I only owned 2 guns, and things were still sane.

It's a pity, really. Beautiful state, decent climate, fun city, beautiful coastline, toxic politics.

At first it is a deterrent to law abiding people to threaten criminal status. But eventually it becomes a badge of honor to belong to the Brotherhood of FU, Tyrant.

The good people of 18th century Massachusetts proudly wore that badge. Today, Mass is a disgrace.

That is the goal of the educated slime that keeps getting elected. The goal of the average ignorant liberal that keeps voting for these fools is to say they did their part even if they did stomp on your constitutional rights. Tyrants and fools.
