I often think the modern Democrat party is corrupt, traitorous, and deceitful. But rolling out this feeble, sick old woman for political gain surpasses all that and is just evil.

"To keep a seat D"? Is there any real chance that a Republican would be appointed or later win that seat?

Not a snowballs chance in hell. The super majority the D's have in CA is overwhelming, there's really five counties in the ENTIRE state that control things because of their population density, the gov retirement fund and teacher's union are the king-makers in the state. What's left of the state GOP has been completely gutted due to out-of-state escapees and is left to having it's meetings/conventions in airport hotel ballrooms.

Adam Schiff desperately wants the seat, he raised his profile during the Trump impeachment trials, he's raised the most money but, he doesn't check enough grievance boxes. Katie Porter wants to convince everyone she's a everyday mother like everyone else, but also wants to be the Liz Warren of the West as she's pushing her new book and had some not so stellar public interviews lately. Then there's Barbara Lee, she checks a large number of the grievance boxes, she's the most far-Left of the three, has enough baggage from her time as a Representative, and has been vocal in her support of reparations for Blacks in CA.

Gav has said that if DiFi steps down he'll appoint a black woman to fill the spot. Here's who the contenders are and why or why they won't get the nod.

Adam Schiff - He's such a whore that he'll say or do anything but he's not black enough or was born with OEM girl parts, at least not that we know of. Not a chance.

Karen Bass - Just elected mayor of LA. She beat her Republican opponent by a good margin however with rising crime, voters might give him a shot, much like they did with recently deceased former Republican mayor Dick Riordan. LA did well under him. No chance Bass will step down.

Barbara Lee - At first glance you'd think she'd be it be a use she checks a lot of boxes but age is a factor. She only be filling in until Jan 2025 and 6 years after that makes her old. It's a concern bc age is a concern with Biden and DiFi. She's not immune from the same argument.

London Breed - The SF mayor is a sleeper but this is the winner. Young enough to have experience but not smelling like mothballs. She can retain the office for multiple terms. Gav was the former mayor so he sees where a mayorship can take you.

All these infirm and/or elderly people being propped up like this reminds me of the character "Miss Claridge" in South Park, frantically beeping twice for no and everybody exclaiming "Look, she said 'yes yes!'"

Feinstein's senate seat is easily replaceable by any commie Democrat, but they can't easily replace her power on the various committees she is on, and her return to Capital Hill shows this.
Even though a zombie now, her position still yields a tremendous amount of power.

She looks more feeble and ill than Ruth Bader Ginsberg did when they kept wheeling her into the Supreme Court, pretending she was lucid, until she died.

There is a large population of sheep in California. However from the results of the 2020 election, it is obvious that election fraud is alive and well in this state. The fraud is relatively massive, IMO.

When I saw her in her wheelchair, I remarked she looks like she belongs in a coffin. That's the kind of look I've seen on people in coffins.

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." It’s simply her time to have a hand shoved up her ass. She has been the puppeteer in the past, so I have no sympathy for any of these pieces of shit!

The sad thing is that as much as I’d like her “retired” from the senate immediately, the odds are good that her replacement will be worse. Frown

Exactly. She's fine just where she is.
We know how she votes, and she's BARELY able to do that, which makes her more of an albatross for the D, than a thorn in the side of teh GOP.

Senator Feinstein is also navigating an increasingly bitter legal and financial conflict that pits her and her daughter, Katherine Feinstein, against the three daughters of her late husband Richard C. Blum, who was a wealthy financier.

In one legal dispute, the family is fighting over what’s described as Senator Feinstein’s desire to sell a beach house in an exclusive neighborhood in Stinson Beach, north of San Francisco. In another disagreement, the two factions are at odds over access to the proceeds of Mr. Blum’s life insurance, which Senator Feinstein says she needs to pay for her growing medical expenses.

For those close to Senator Feinstein, the struggle over Mr. Blum’s estate has exacerbated a recent and regrettable chapter that has marred the twilight of a long and successful public life and that has raised concerns about her ability to manage her own affairs.

Katherine Feinstein, 66, Senator Feinstein’s only child, who has power of attorney over her mother’s legal affairs, filed two lawsuits against Senator Feinstein’s co-trustees. The first lawsuit, over the beach house, says the property is in disrepair, that Senator Feinstein no longer wishes to use it, and that she wants to sell it this summer or fall.

einstein’s husband, financier Richard Blum, died in February 2022 after a long fight with cancer. According to a lawsuit filed Monday in San Francisco Superior Court by Feinstein’s daughter, Katherine Feinstein — who has power of attorney in her mother’s legal matters — Sen. Feinstein has not received any of the assets from Blum’s estate as dictated in his trust agreement.

Feinstein appointed her daughter, who was a child from a previous marriage, as co-trustee of Blum’s estate in August 2022. Katherine Feinstein is not a beneficiary of the trust.

The lawsuit alleges that the two people acting as trustees, Michael Klein and Marc Scholvinck, were not properly appointed to the positions by Blum or by Sen. Feinstein after Blum’s death. Klein and Scholvinck were longtime business associates of Blum, who was reportedly a billionaire upon his death. Feinstein is wealthy, independent of her husband’s finances.

Steven Braccini, the attorney representing Klein and Scholyinck, said in a statement that the trust “has never denied any disbursement to Senator Feinstein, let alone for medical expenses.”

Braccini also said they have “not been presented with any evidence showing that Katherine Feinstein has power of attorney for her mother … and remain hopeful that this is simply a misunderstanding that can be quickly resolved, rather than a stepdaughter engaging in some kind of misguided attempt to gain control over trust assets to which she is not entitled.”
