An empty Flight Simulator 2004 software box tickled my interest in playing with flight simulation - never gonna fly for real for age, health, cost reasons. I bought the FSX Steam Edition and have been playing with it for a week or so.

Flying the thing is humbling. Lots going on and a steep learning curve. I haven't crashed an airplane yet, but it's not for lack of trying. Any advice for a newcomer to the game?
