Normality Contraindicated |
I just passed my Dad's Montblanc Gold 149 down to my daughter now that she is out of school and in her career. ------------------------------------------------------ Though we choose between reality and madness It's either sadness or euphoria

Oh, you know, sitting on a modest 14 or 15 bottles of various types. I also may have lost proper count... -ShneaSIG Oh, by the way, which one's "Pink?"

Even in retirement, I find I still enjoy using fountain pens. It's a habit I started in grade school with a cheap Sheaffer cartridge pen. ShneaSIG is all in. (I've always liked the blue and silver Pelikan.) Try a Pilot. And a higher-end Waterman. And, as an American, you need a Parker and a Shaeffer, too. Then one of the Italians. The fish is mute, expressionless. The fish doesn't think because the fish knows everything.

I am really enjoying my new, cheapie Lamy Safari. So much nicer than the Elysée Diplomat I had in the mid- to late-80s. It's a joy to write with. Sig P226 .40 S&W Sig SP2022 9mm RIA 1911 Gov't .45 ...and more

Very nice selection! I'm really liking J. Herbin inks. And I have joined the broad side - the gold and blue m800 in my picture above is a nice italic broad. It's a lot of fun to use! My pens now go to the office with me every day. Having a bunch of different color inks is pretty useful for marking up and editing documents. -ShneaSIG Oh, by the way, which one's "Pink?"

His Royal Hiney |
"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.
