Let's hope that way more positive things come from them than bad. A teenaged girl published a novel in 1818 that envisioned the shitstorm when we create beings we cannot control, with results and consequences we cannot possibly anticipate. She called it Frankenstein. Bots will create other bots far more powerful and complex than the ones we can create. They will communicate in codes difficult to break, and by the time we do so, they will switch to a new undeciphered code. It will be impossible to tell, without close examination, who is a bot and who is not. A lot of this nightmare stuff has already happened, such as bots creating their own codes for communication with other bots. Yes, seriously, this is scary shit.
