I am looking for assistance from someone who may have an email account with comcast

Our internet service is with Comcast, and my Aunt and Uncle both have the Comcast email. They seem to have problems with it every other day. I see my Aunt calling and talking to the Comcast customer reps and getting all frustrated. Well, seems it is a buggy system, plus, also I bet some problems are caused due to user error, because both my uncle and aunt are totally stupid people!!!!

when I lived in NH, I had a comcast account and I registered an Apple iCloud account on my iPhone with it - probably about 10 years ago

I've since moved from NH, the account is closed, but no one else has the email account name and I'd trying to find out if someone can open up a second email account with the old username so I can have Apple email me the forgotten password

my phone is locked, but don't want to have it wiped back to its initial conditions

if you can help, it would be greatly appreciated

I just spent a frustrating hour on their system trying to get through to technical support and their phone system front end is horrible - tech support is an option but you can never get connected to one until you hang up and log onto the internet...

I don't have Comcast any more, but when I did, I was able to create my own sub accounts with whatever name I wanted - this should be do-able, hopefully after 10 years it will let that name you had be re-used.

i just checked my account & don't see any option to add another email account.

i agree phone call in to cs can be hit or miss, chat's even worse.

I've had a Comcast email account for around 15 years and had little to zero issues with it. I wish I could say the same about the rest of their service.

I'd like to help. I'm a Comcast subscriber in NH and like 'airbubba' indicated, when I checked my Account you can't exactly see any obvious option to add add'l email accounts.

That said, a little googling leads me to believe I can Add/invite Users to my account, which would/should facilitate what you're trying to accomplish.

Please send an email to my address (in profile) with your phone number and I'll call you to see if we can get you squared away!


ETA - I realize I asked you to send me your phone #, but I also see your phone being locked IS your problem. Indicate in your email if you've got no way to call me and we'll figure something out.

On the xFinity webpage, log in, click My Account and Users. You can add accounts/emails there.

As of 6:30 PM EDT, nhtagmember has access to his new/old email account...
