I would have thought Wyoming would have better control of that, but apparently not.

Edit: (Re-read it, it was a Federal Judge). I looked up Judge Alan Johnson, the only one I could find is 86 years old and was appointed by Reagan! If that is the judge, it's past time to retire. Who knows where that guy is now, or what he is up to.

The Federal judge issued the warrant, the Magistrate judge let him out. Not the same people.

I just bought a ton of steel case Magtech. My club makes you police the brass and they are massive dirt and gravel bays. Roofing magnet to the rescue. 200 bucks a case. Not the good old days (123 a case) but not too bad either.

I'm running out of room, and starting to worry about the floor joists. I still don't think I have enough.

Every time I bring it up, someone will turn their nose up at it, but I've shot a lot of this stuff.

Oh yea, one of my favorite arguments. I used to buy wolf and Tula before online sales tax at $123 a case to my door. I shot 10-20 thousand rounds of that stuff and had exactly one issue. It wasn’t even really an issue. MagPul Glock mags didn’t like to feed the steel cases. They would bind up often enough that for matches I just went back to OEM and issues went away. I love cheap steel shot through the finest of handguns. Lol

Depends: If I manage to escape the communist hellhole where I currently reside anytime soon (sadly, unlikely), moving is going to be a royal bitch. If I don’t manage to escape soon, then I’m just a few cases short of not enough. Wink

Yeah, just a few months back, I posted a good deal for this stuff and someone replied "I'll pay a little more for brass" or something to that effect. Ok, I guess lol. I don't know anyone who's worn out a barrel or extractors on it. Sometimes it smells funny, but Wolf and Tula under NV on steel targets is like a mini fireworks show, it's hilarious.

I’m OKAY for ammunition, but I’ve also set myself up the last few years for thousands of rounds in components to reload.

Pounds of powder, projectiles, brass, and primers. Along with experimenting with loads. So if the time comes I need to shoot my reserves I’ll do so after going through quite a bit of reloading.

I buy factory when I see it for a deal, but I also buy components at an even better price. Best of both worlds.

With all that said I don’t think this thread is so much of a question anymore. But more of a warning/directive.

Go stock up, in one way or another.

Nine years to retirement! Just waiting!

I keep telling the Mrs. we need more ammo but I have a good amount. The downside, is now that my children like shooting dad's stash, I need to get more.

I'm still buying regularly, in different calibers. and don't waiver. Over time, it adds up and keeps pricing semi-fair. Can never have enough

Some funds will hopefully allow for more ammo next month. I’ll be buying a case of .45acp, 5.56 and maybe a couple of 9mm.

Who knows what the future holds, but I probably have more than I'll ever shoot. When I kick whoever finds it (likely I won't have any relatives alive) will think, WTF!?

I stock piled reloading supplies both centerfire and shotgun. I don't load anything now, if I want to shoot I use ammo from my factory ammo supply.
The reloading supplies are for emergency use.
I don't try to anticipate what to load for, when the time comes I will know what ammo needs to be loaded.I don't want to have to break down ammo because I loaded the wrong stuff.
I also have at least 2 guns in each caliber with the proper loading dies for each.
I keep a supply of lead to make bullets.

I found a bunch of ammo I didn't know I had in the back of a closet.
Can't have too much I guess.

Just priced buying already cast bullets per pound. Turns out $5.50 for the blue bullets vs casting my own from $3/pound, casting and powder coating is much cheaper if I don’t include my time(which is free to me)

I should buy some more powder and primers.
