Good afternoon, SF. Anyone got a P226 with a Streamlight TLR-7X mounted, and got a good holster for it?

I'm thinking more in terms of "good storage for house gun" than for daily carry, if that matters at all. Who's got recommendations?

Thanks, all.

God bless America.

I didn't think about it that way, but that case is about perfect. Thank you!

Here are some almost as nice as the 511 for $10.00

I bought a few to take pistols to the range and they have held up well.

Ten bucks?! Can’t fuss about that at all. I’ll grab a couple of those to have on hand. Thank you.

Although I have two 5.11 the factory seconds will be a good actual idpa range carry bag. We have to go to safe area to handle pistols.

Just keep in mind that you don't want to store handguns in zipped/enclosed fabric cases long-term. They can trap moisture and contribute to corrosion.

Red Hill Tactical. They have lots of options, including different Streamlights. They also allow for a wide variety of attachment mechanisms. Granted, not cheap, but they are not cheap-ass holsters, either. I have a 3-gun version on the way for my P226.

Fabric traps moisture?

Serious about crackers.

Borestores makes silicone cloth “flap holsters” that are good for protection in a safe or pistol rack.

Not sure they’d be ideal for the OP’s use case though…

The golden rule is never store a gun in a case long term. Cases are for transport only. Many a rifle/ shotgun has been destroyed by rust stored in a case, and lot of pistols get rusty sitting in holsters.
