A bit of a different persona than jlj. But maybe things changed for him, if that is him.
Are you thinking of Flork?

We still have his lubricant suggestions for the classic P series pinned in the pistol section. IIRC, he went left GrayGuns and opened his own shop. I’m not sure what happened after that - assuming my memory is correct.
He works with Randy at Apex Tactical.

I bought a few things from him always great to deal with. He's still in FL and doing his thing.

dry-flyRotndad is/was a great guy. He sent me a bunch of Eddie Eagle dvd’s, coloring books, etc for our daughter when I was showing her the ropes.
There’s an old friend I met through SF, Cobra21. I sent him a text on Father’s Day, he responded that he had sold off a lot of his collection. I think he’s also got a couple of grandkids. I miss shooting with him.

For sure Flork is at Apex now, he is in their videos. He did work for Bruce Gray for a while.

You really don't want to see some of the things he sends me.

He started working for Bruce when they were located in Sacramento...that's where I met them
When Bruce moved to OR, Scot (his real name) moved with him and worked there for a while before moving back to CA.
He was partners with Randy Lee at Apex Tactical Specialties in Morro Bay until they set up shop in to AZ

Ohio SF Greyguns class is where I met Flork, Bruce and you.
Haven't had an interaction with Scott in years and years.

Oh, I didn't realize that was him or that they were local. That's cool. I had been thinking of doing an Apex trigger in one of my Glocks, I may go ahead and do that now, throw some local boys and a forum member a little support.

Dusty78I don’t remember posts but IIRC my first ever Sig (and what brought me to this forum) was a 229R CPO in 40 that I bought in the classifieds from Ordnance Outsellers.

Julian Frost. No idea what happened to him. He ran it with permission using some university’s server until Marv got his panties in a knot over something stupid and bitched until it shut down. Good memories from back then, Marv excepted.

Appliance BradThere was a guy who specialized in CPO Sigs in the Detroit area. I recall the guns were pristine red box examples. Always wanted to buy a gun from him but the planets never aligned.

Was that Summit Gun Broker?
September 12, 2026, 12:08 PM
RogueJSKSummit Gun Broker was in Missouri.
(The website is still around, but it was sold off by the original owner - Mark - when he retired about a decade back and now operates as a gun auction site out of Ohio.)
The original Summit Gun Broker specialized in buying batches of law enforcement seized and trade-in firearms and reselling them on his website, including a whole lot of LE trade-in Sigs in the late 2000s and early 2010s.
I bought several guns from him in the 2006-2010ish time frame, including my first Sigs that brought me to this forum in 2008.

I used him, too. IIRC, he sold(?) it and it wasn't the same.

There's the Duke Boys, and then there's these two guys- the Douche Boys. Both banned, little sycophants for Benny Bigtime, who has turned out to be the nobody he always was. He just didn't know it, with his hot 26 year old condo and his 6000 square foot girlfriend.
Or something like that.
