I have a 1st Gen Microsoft Surface running RT. I need a HDMI power port with mDP then a USB port to run to the single USB port on the Surface. Sounds like you need a quality USB Hub (Anker is what I use), and some sort of USB to HDMI adapter, where the Hub will plug into the Surface, and the HDMI adapter into the Hub, and whatever other USB devices into the Hub, too. I don't have any advice re specific HDMI mdp / USB adapters, but a quick Google shows several. That sound about right? | |||
