I've been toying with the idea of getting night vision for a few years. I just got a $50 gift card for Amazon and thought why not.

Has anyone purchased a night vision monocular or goggles from Amazon? Any feedback?

What the hell NV stuff are you looking at for $50?
Most NV stuff that I see runs in the several hundred to a few thousand...

no experience with their night vision. But common sense would say that that isn't possible.

You have to be careful buying from amazon as they are quickly becoming wish!!!

$50 won't get you far.

Spent two or three times that a couple of years ago and it was useless. Returned it.

Anything worth having will run at least into the high 3 figures and you can add another zero for the good stuff.

I'm seeing digital NV goggles for as low as $130. I had no idea these were available. Don't know how these compare with traditional devices (the kind that use intensifier tubes and all that), but I'm seeing some favorable reviews. Hmmm...

For under $1,000, these get a bunch of thumbs up from people.

You aren't going to mount them to your helmet and use them like goggles, there is a slight delay in the video feed and they aren't as good as even gen 3 night vision tubes, but a lot of people on youtube say they're pretty good for the price point.

I've almost bought them a few times, but ultimately I'm holding out for a pair of white phos PV14's.

He said he had a $50 gift card. He didn’t say that is all he expects to spend.

ok ok ok.... lets do the math here.

$50 gift card. NVD worth $XXX.

$XXX - $50 = less out of pocket for me

All on board now?

Here's a nice one. Only one lens, I think it's a monocular.
