Well, I am definitely getting old. I just noticed that my ten year anniversary on the forum passed on March 17th. I've learned more random knowledge, both useful and useless, here than I have anywhere else. The breadth of firearms knowledge here is astounding, and the quality of the people I've met and spoken with is certainly higher than average.

Holy shit, I've been a member here for slightly more than a third OF MY LIFE. (My 30th is in a couple months, about which I have not yet begun to panic) Eek

Huge thanks to Para, the mods, and my fellow members for keeping this place awesome!

Yeah, 54 was so far into the rear view mirror you can't tell if it's a flyspeck or a flaw in the coating. 30 is out of view, even with glasses..... Big Grin

Yes, 30 won't seem like a big deal in a few years. I worried more about 30, then not much about 40, 50, or 60.

Congrats! When did you leave Colorado? I want no part of that part of our country. Hope you aren't stuck there.

Got here in October, not sure how long it will last. I have an entire Lutherian list of complaints with this part of the world but it is partially redeemed by the saltwater fishing and the sailing.

Looking forward to an extended trip home next month though. Slightly embarrassed to admit I haven't dropped the hammer on a live round since September.

I've been here 13 years and have enjoyed this place more than any other forum. In fact I used to regularly visit Para's Smith and Wesson Forum before he had this one.
