How do I scale up a pdf pattern?
My wife bought a craft pattern that came in a pdf file. It’s intended to be printed on 8.5 x11 paper.

I need to scale it up by 100% and print the pattern. Is there a program that will scale up and still allow me to print on 8.5 x 11?

Is there a way to tile print the enlarged pattern?

I would take a screenshot of the pattern magnified. Then size it to where you want.

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.

The printer dialogue will give you the option to scale and tile.

If you can’t get it to work, email it to me. I have acrobat and can scale it.

This, or see if you have a local FedEx Office/Staples/Office Depot that has a B size printer.

If so, you could have them do the scale thing there and print it out double-sized on one sheet of 11x17 paper.

You can resize most any image.
You can convert to an image file and resize in a lot of picture programs including MS Paint.
However, while increasing in size it will decrease the resolution.
To maintain that you need the file in a vector format readable in programs like Corel Draw and others.
The former are called raster images and the latter is vector.
It is possible to convert from raster to vector but it takes some work.
If the increased resolution doesn't make much difference just resize it without the conversion - much easier process.

Thanks guys. I needed to download the latest Acrobat, and the print option I was looking for is called "poster". From there you can select the sizing and "tile print with cut marks".

Got it done. Thx!
