GraniteguyGas Cooking Range
Have not seen any recent posts on gas ranges but I am ready to replace my 15 year old Sears Kenmore.
Looking for standard 30" convection gas stove. Want to spend less than $1,500 so high end options like Wolf and Therm are out.
What does the Forum recommend? I have a KitchenAid refrigerator and dishwasher but the KitchenAid gas stove reviews are......meh.

Marlin FanLG gas stoves generally receive highly positive reviews from both industry experts and everyday home cooks, maintaining an average rating of 4.0 to 4.5 out of 5 stars across major appliance retailers. Major publications like Good Housekeeping have previously awarded LG "Best Overall Gas Range" accolades, and Yale Appliance data tracks their first-year service rate at a low 4.4% (beating the 6.4% industry average).

sig2392I would go with Maytag or Whirlpool in that price range, depending on the features and price points.
Frigidaire is my next pick.
I have gotten a lot of life out of all three.
I would not buy Samsung or LG appliances.
Way too many horror stories about trying to get them fixed.

Friends don't let friends by LG or Samsung appliances. My understanding is parts and service are hard to get and many repair places don't want to deal with them.
We bought a Kenmore gas stove in 2013 and when we sold the house this summer it was still going strong.

RogueJSKYeah, LG apparently is the LLM chatbot's pick

, but the reality is that LG and Samsung should only be considered for consumer electronics like phones and TVs, not home appliances for which their track record is abysmal.

Truth. As a property manager with 25 stoves, 25 refrigerators, etc. I agree wholeheartedly.
