I usually send my sister and her husband some fancy cookies and chocolates for Christmas. I've never actually tried the selections I make, but my sister says they're very good. I just shop on Amazon, let them gift wrap it and send it.

Looking for suggestions (preferably available on Amazon, because PRIME) from someone who has been there done that. Cookies, chocolates or snacks type gift. Thanks !!!

Anything I've received from Zingerman's has been very solid. They've got a very wide assortment of items to order so, you're not limited.

If she's an ice cream fan try Jeni's. We treat ourselves once a year or so to a shipment of it and it's got to be about the best ice cream we've ever had. They have a few storefronts scattered across the country as well. If you're near one it's worth stopping by and trying it.

Thanks guys !!! ZChocolat on the way to my sister and her husband. They doubled the order at no extra charge. They're doing it as a COVID thing or Holiday thing, but they doubled it. Nice
EDIT: Standard 3 day delivery from Paris France to USA via DHL. She will have the chocolates on Friday the 18th.

I'm not sure where your family is located, but one idea is to do a quick search for a baker who is local to them and delivers. My wife runs a small business like that and the feedback she gets is that fresh baked cookies are really appreciated.

Excellent idea !!! My sister is in Pawley's Island, SC. Lots of specialty businesses in the area although I'm not familiar with specifics. I'm two states away.

I liked ALL the choices you guys suggested. Thank you. The Ice Cream one from Jenis is another I strongly considered but they have a notice their shipping schedule is full and delivery wouldn't be possible until the week of the 28th or later depending on ship to location.

The best cacao in the world is from Venezuela, the famous Criollo bean.

I’m sure the other chocolatiers are excellent, but you haven’t lived until you’ve tried a chocolate truffle from Románicos in Miami. 100% Venezuelan cacao, pure ingredients.

https://bestchocolatemiami.com/

As a note, Swiss chocolate traditionally used only Venezuelan cacao, except it is quite expensive and commands a premium in the market; now many use cheaper African or other LatAm varieties.
