Taylor's Chili is pretty good for a canned product. If you can't find it in your area, it's available online by ordering direct.

Hormel Chili withOUT Beans isn't too bad if you add an extra half pound of beef and if you don't mind soy.

It can be hard to find canned chili without soy. Worthmore Chili - Cincinnati Style at least used to be soy free. Maybe it still is.

Only things that I use Wolf brand chili with no beans on...

Hotdogs and Frito pie...

Small bag of Fritos (opened length-wise) heated canned chili on top with shredded cheese and chopped onions. Eat right out of the bag with a spoon.

Yesterday I scarfed down the following from the cupboard and freezer...Hebrew National wieners topped with a conglomeration of Fritos, chopped onions, and a can of Hormel turkey chili w/o beans mixed with a can of Rotel with the remains from a jar of Tostito Queso poured over it...it was quite tasty (but I was hungry Wink)...covered with mustard...
It wasn't the Varsity but it beat the hell out of the Callander's Chicken Pot Pies I've been microwaving lately Big Grin...

Today I'm shooting for a Chef Boyardee ravioli feast Big Grin

Touching base with the old thread, I haven't had canned chili in many years. But there was a time when I eat it fairly often. Usually El Paso brand at the time. And yes, usually cold out of the can. I'd scoop the congealed fat/grease off the top and throw in away, so it was the healthy way to eat it. Wink
