This is thirty-six-year-old news.

Still good to read, though.

Kennesaw, Georgia passed their controversial law as a reaction to one passed in Morton Grove, Illinois banning possession of handguns in the village. I have read that crime escalated in Morton Grove afterward and virtually died out in Kennesaw--go figure.

I’ve lived here for 17 years and love it. It’s not as crime free as some people like to claim but it’s a pretty safe city and a good area to raise kids.
