I watched a guy run across an alligator on US-17 down here. His vehicle was launched into the median where it hit several sign posts, shearing them off at the bases and totaling the vehicle. The alligator was only about 7’ judging by the half that was still on the road.
The one in the video looks like a nice pair of boots to me.

This looks like “Bubba”. He’s our neighbor, hangs out at the Circle B Bar Reserve, Polk County, FL. A former 1,300 acre cattle ranch, now full of wildlife. Great birdwatching.

Camera guy films on his knees, makes it look taller and bigger than it is, still a big sucker.
Here's the wrangler working on an 11 footer that wandered into the neighborhood 3 years ago, mating season, just walking down the street. BTW he's half the width of that drive with the tail curled up.
