It seems that the wronger they are, the faster they whip out the phone to start recording. Did not know how to back up? Do you suppose that she actually had a driver license? הרחפת שלי מלאה בצלופחים

We have terrible drivers and I blame the police. Without enforcement there is no reason to follow the rules. I was driving to work at 5:30 in the morning behind a cop car that was behind a small pick up truck. we all came to a stop, and then made a left turn and the pick up Truck only had headlights. No tail lights, no running lights, and no brake lights. And the cop followed him up to the next traffic light where the pick up came to another stop, and then turned right and drove away. The cop did not do a damn thing about it. If the police will not enforce little things like turn signals, illegal turns, or not having running lights on after dark then how can you expect drivers to do them? “We truly live in a wondrous age of stupid.” - 83v45magna "I think it's important that people understand free speech doesn't mean free from consequences societally or politically or culturally." -Pranjit Kalita, founder and CIO of Birkoa Capital Management

At least when I was a cop people around me drove right..being in a marked patrol car brings out the niceness in people... But you are right, I think they should do licensing like they do in Germany....lots of money, lots of driving with a professional trainer, and huge fines when you screw up. Think percentages of income vs $100 here or $200 there. And you should be able to beat someones ass for camping in the left lane. Just returning from Omaha,Ne back to Charleston, WV. No one state is able to claim worst, they’re all bad. Using your blinker or the three second rule is a sign of weakness, as is common courtesy. Lots of money wasted on road signs, especially the “slower traffic keep right” signs.

A fellow I work with told me that when his son turned driving age, he had driving lessons from an ESL teacher (who seem to have cornered the driving school market). The instructor told him that when he entered a multi-lane road he should immediately move over to the left lane to cruise. !!! You can't truly call yourself "peaceful" unless you are capable of great violence. If you're not capable of great violence, you're not peaceful, you're harmless. NRA Benefactor/Patriot Member

The answer to your question is YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My wife and have lived in central Florida Just south west of Disney for 20 years. I tell people, driving on I4 is like driving on the inside of a pinball machine while some one is playing a game with 4 of 5 pinball's at the same time. That is when it is moving. I had to go out to Lake Nona on I4 about a week and a half ago. It took me 45 minutes to go 13 miles. I4 east was backed up from west of US27 to us192 then 536 to the Beach line. This is almost daily. The one thing I am seeing a lot is people holding their phone about a foot from their face while talking. Why? Living near Disney I see a lot of people crossing 3 or 4 lanes of traffic at the last minute cutting people off to get to their exit. They are driving like it is a million miles to the next exit to turn around. The best last week was a fully loaded dump truck flying down the right shoulder of the road to by pass stopped traffic. Thank god no one had to pull off to the shoulder for an emergency, he would have killed them. This is something I am seeing a lot lately. I also see a lot of right on red with out slowing down lately. This is why we have so many billboards with peoples faces getting huge insurance settlements holding a big check. No doubt is wansn't. What a brat. I'm not LEO, but if a youngin cussed me out, I'd cite her and call a tow truck. That would make her think twice the next time she encountered: 1) a one-way street, and 2) backing up her vehicle. Geez O Petes !!! Lover of the US Constitution Wile E. It seems like people are WAY more impatient or seem to have a “I’m more important than YOU” attitude these days. I’m seeing way more people driving up the shoulder or using a turning lane to drive up and ahead of a line of traffic in a through lane than ever before. It’s like people just don’t give a shit about rules anymore.

There seem to be many drivers distracted by gadgets they're trying to operate in their cars. Many have a smart phone mounted on the center vent with maps, video calls, or text messages on them. Add to that many cars have large touch screens. Where in the past drivers would learn where knobs were located and adjust things without looking, now one needs to look at the touch screen and pick the correct option.

The housing boom has brought in hundreds of new homeowners int our neighborhood. With it comes a lot of bad drivers and others who think they own the roads. I just drive more defensively. Getting shot is no achievement. Hitting your enemy is. NRA Endowment Member . NRA instructor

Over the latest three months I have witnessed so much unsafe driving that I increased my insurance coverage. And although it will cost more in premiums I am considering increasing the coverage again. We are at the start of the holiday season. Along with the crowds I swear people that rarely drive are on the roads. Tonight I got behind my first dark car. Our development gets tons of sightseers out to look at the lights. However, they shut their car lights off and crawl down the road. I use my high beams a lot. The latest idiocy is pacing the car next to them. I was behind one in the left lane doing 5 miles under the limit. The car in the right lane sped up and I moved over to pass. Then the idiot started pacing me! “ The work of destruction is quick, easy and exhilarating; the work of creation is slow, laborious and dull.

In the last few days I have twice seen people just breeze on through a red light, as in it was red long before they got to it and they never slowed down at all. One of them did it to turn left crossing two lanes of US 95.
