I wish Shapiro had a better radio voice. It's like listening to chalk on a blackboard. A shame, because he sometimes makes good points. You can't truly call yourself "peaceful" unless you are capable of great violence. If you're not capable of great violence, you're not peaceful, you're harmless. NRA Benefactor/Patriot Member

One could argue that many of the degrees that kid was looking for - gender studies, for example - makes one more likely to spout bullshit. Those aren't real academic fields. Even the softest sciences, like sociology or economics, are ten times more rigorous. The fish is mute, expressionless. The fish doesn't think because the fish knows everything.

I sometimes believe that if it were possible to teach everyone how to think logically and avoid logical fallacies such as arguments from authority, etc., it would save the world—or at least part of it. When I see otherwise intelligent people pushed into a corner and then resort to straw men or other spurious arguments that they are the first to bring up in a discussion, I want to laugh, cry, or yell at the computer monitor. Expecting that is of course a fantasy, but it’s refreshing to listen to someone actually attack the diseased thinking itself rather than allow themselves be sucked into trying to address the arguments that have illogic as their bases. ► 6.4/93.6 “Most men … can seldom accept the simplest and most obvious truth if it … would oblige them to admit the falsity of conclusions … which they have woven, thread by thread, into the fabrics of their lives.” — Leo Tolstoy

That was written two years ago, during the presidential debates. Besides Trump's election, we've seen the left and Dems come completely unhinged in ways we've never seen from a political party, it's representatives and supporters. We're seeing propped-up social movements generated solely from the Left and it's platforms with aims to undermine and eschew all aspects of identified conservative activities and interests, even to the point of free speech. Like many conservatives, I'm sure Shapiro continues to hold a dim view of Trump but, what has he said recently that would denote him as a never trump type?

Maybe he could get one of those voice altering tapes that they put on their throat like in Mission Impossible. "If you’re a leader, you lead the way. Not just on the easy ones; you take the tough ones too…” – MAJ Richard D. Winters (1918-2011), E Company, 2nd Battalion, 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne "Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil... Therefore, as tongues of fire lick up straw and as dry grass sinks down in the flames, so their roots will decay and their flowers blow away like dust; for they have rejected the law of the Lord Almighty and spurned the word of the Holy One of Israel." - Isaiah 5:20,24

Agree wholeheartedly, and I’m not a purist by any means. It’s a big tent, and all of us have to things that can be used against us. I linked that more to show his historical viewpoint, and also that no one is ever correct 100% of time (I.e. perfect!)

Ben Shapiro: Yeah, If These Were the Choices In 2020, I'd Vote For Trump Yeah, he pretty much admitted that Trump has surprised him and that he'd vote for him in 2020. 'Never Trump' Conservative Ben Shapiro Explains Why He's Now 'More Apt' to Support Trump in 2020, Warns Against GOP Primary Challenge "Now, we have a track record. We know what [Trump] will do policy-wise, which is a lot better than anything I thought he would do. And then there's what he's done personally, as far as toxifying politics, and I think it's fair to say [what's happened is] pretty much what a lot of us expected to happen..He's governed basically as Mike Pence would. His actual governance has been very down-the-line conservative overall, although he is obviously a big spender...I have to measure the fact that a bunch of things that I thought were going to happen already have happened and are not going to be cured by avoiding voting for him, with the fact that his policies have been overall pretty good, and the fact that he's going to be running against, presumably, a radical Democrat... I don't think sitting out the next election cycle actually changes things on the ground in a lot of the ways I was talking about before, and the fact that he's governed much more conservative than I thought he was actually going to, I'm much more apt to vote for President Trump in 2020 than I was in 2016...He's done a lot of really good things in terms of governance. His Middle Eastern policy I think has been quite great. His regulatory policy has been very good. The tax cuts are very good. The judges are spectacular. All these things are great. I was very skeptical that we were going to get virtually any of them when he was elected because he was so all over the place during the election cycle, but obviously he has governed fairly down-the-line on all of these major issues, and that changes the math."

No one's right 100% of the time, it's simply not possible. Hell I'll admit that I wasn't on the Trump train in the primaries. I voted for Cruz just to send a message even though by that point it was obvious that Trump was getting the nomination (and No, Cruz isn't losing to Beatoff O'Whatthefuckever his name is in this cycle). I'm willing to give the Chuck Norris of Conservative speak a pass on his prior questionings of Trump. He's definitely not the only one that had them but he's still fighting the good fight. ___________________________ Not giving a damn since...whenever...

Kid seemed like he was reading from a script. Shapiro didn't follow that script and the kid was totally lost. Kid was so dumb he didn't realize he was playing checkers while Shapiro was the adult playing chess. _____________

Nice comebacks Ben! SJW: Granted that's your opinion. BS: Right, cause well I'm here, yeah, giving it. Donald Trump is not a politician, he is a leader, politicians are a dime a dozen, leaders are priceless.
