David sold me a Ball about 10 years ago. It still lights my way-to-early mornings!

MikeinNCI was issued a
Marathon dive watch in the service. It uses tritium vials in the face. And trust me, when it was issued, you could read a book by it at night.
The citizen eco-drive I wear daily is radioactive but it’s nothing like the Marathon. The citizen can be held in front of a light and the. It’s really bright , but it fades quickly.

bronicabillLots of you guys are mentioning watches that cost many times what this Citizen did! As much as I’d love to spring for one of those, most do not have the aesthetics that I prefer! I like fairly simple watches with two-tone steel bands, no extras like stopwatch functions on the face, and very simple overall designs with dark colored face backgrounds.
The one I just bought from David fits the bill to a T... I just wish the luminous parts would glow all night. But for under $200.00 shipped, I suspect that is asking a bit much!
