Well, Ahyoka Star has taken on the roll of big sister well. She has made sure the neighbors asshole dogs have stayed away from Sequoyah. Also Sequoyah took a hard tumble down the stairs and yelped and Ahyoka came running to make sure that Sequoyah was OK.

Last night Sequoyah only whimpered for a few seconds in his crate, Ahyoka laid beside Sequoyah's crate all night.

Sequoyah slept for 7 hours, never got up.

He has started to get sit and down. He's slower than Ahyoka, but smart as can be!

Today we had a play time with Ahyoka's good friend Henry, a gentleman, well behaved aussie/border collie mix that is up to date on all of his shots.

Everybody had great fun! Henry was a little hesitant about Sequoyah at first, but before long they all were having a good time!

Everybody was good and tired by the end of play time!

Sequoyah enjoyed his dinner, already adding a little bit of raw and he really enjoys it and so far is doing well with it.

Before long it will be 40/10/50 puppy food, home-cooked, raw.

There is still some sibling rivalry, 95% with Ahyoka, but Sequoyah adores her, yet he is demanding all of my attention!

Very happy with the new addition, yet I must be truly nuts!

Sequoyah discovered fireflies tonight. He has spent the last hour trying to jump up and catch one.

For some reason I found it humorous.

Ahyoka Star was grooming Sequoyah last night.

Sequoyah is starting to like his crate, goes into it on his own when I say it bedtime.

Ahyoka got her shots today, and I had the Veterinarian check Sequoyah out, he is in good shape, weight is 9.7 pounds.

Got him chipped today also. Just got to get him 3rd puppy shots and then the true adventures start!

I've been in that store. To be fair to you the sign quite explicitly states that unattended children will be given chocolate covered espresso beans and puppy. How were the beans?

Congrats on the fur baby!

They were delicious! I ate quite a few and I could hear colors.

Ahyoka is only 2 years 7 mouths old, and I can't believe how much I forgot how tiring a puppy is, but at the same time invigorating? I don't know if that's the right term.

It's amazing how fast they grow, he has grown since I got him, but he's still a little underweight. He should be 10 pounds, but he's 9.7 pounds.

Ahyoka and Sequoyah are getting along great. Ahyoka loves her little brother. But I can also tell he gets on her nerves sometimes.

Sequoyah has "sit" pretty good. Where as "down" isn't as solid. But he got "boop" (hand touch) super fast!

I'm so happy that I have two beautiful fur babies that are so smart.

The last picture in the OP looks like a shot from Vogue Magazine. Big Grin

Bart: Alright, we'll settle this like men, with our fists.
Hedley Lamarr: Sorry, I just remembered . . . I am armed.

Well, is been a little over 3 months since Sequoyah has come into our lives. Ahyoka Star is truly Big Sis/Mommy. She looks after him very well.

Sequoyah is almost as tall as Ahyoka, almost as long. He weights 30 pounds and is hell of four paws! He's fast and nimble on his feet, and into EVERYTHING!

He's going sit, down, rollover, boop, shake left and right hand, clockwise and counterclockwise, come, all down.

He loves to swim, I think that he's part fish. He jumped into the river and swam 30 to 40 yards out, all the while I was flipping out!there were boats everywhere. Anyway He swam back and I was much more happier.

Sequoyah has a great personality, and is probably the happiest go-lucky pup I have ever see, and a little lover boy.

Ahyoka Star seams to enjoy her Big Sis job, and seams happier.

Yeah, Ahyoka loves Sequoyah, she's always gives her toys to him. She watches everything he does.

He can be outside playing with a toy/ball and Ahyoka will post up in over-watch and keep an eye on him.

She has help teach him things.

They are truly a Dynamic Duo!

This is Oscar, my Handful. He's 1 year and 4 months old at present and a real bundle of energy. He's also a small Standard Poodle so I keep waiting for some indications of genius. What I've seen is Mischief, what I should have named him. One big plus is how gentle he is with small children and small dogs. He's been baby sitting a 7 lbs. Maltese and watching them wrestle is a hoot. Neither dog ever bites the other but lots of neck grips and pins going on with not a peep from either.

I've stopped counting.
