Oatmeal is edible, but I don't love it.

It all seems like something a horse should eat - not a person.

Just beware of heating either in a microwave! You gotta sandblast the bowl to get the cooked on particles off.

Cream of wheat! Prefer it made on the stove top, but have used microwave packets for ease the past couple years.

It's been a while, but once upon a time I found them in the cup, like the microwavable oatmeal cups. Wish I bought all of them!

I like refried grits. Make grits and put them in a small bread pan. Refrigerate. Slice the grits like a piece of bread, fry in butter.
